Adult Education & Activity Program

Clausen House on YouTube: Dance for All Bodies and Abilities

Featuring Adult Education participants from Clausen House in a collaborative effort with Cal State University of the East Bay. Special thanks to Eric Kupers and Dandelion Dancetheater for making this video available.

Clausen House's Adult Education and Activity Program offers classes for people with a range of developmental disabilities. Our program is more comprehensive than most and includes a wide variety of skill areas.

Our goal is to challenge students intellectually, stimulate their creativity, and help them maximize their functional level. Students gain competency in essential life skills by taking part in classes, cultural events, and volunteer experiences. By learning adaptive social behaviors, students are better able to achieve inclusion in the community.
