Independent and Supported Living:

The goal of both programs is to provide individual support to those who either live in their own homes or wish to do so in the future. We help them maintain their independence and to insure their rights to safety, choice, financial security and emotional stability. Learn more »
Independent Living Services provide instruction and support in developing functional skills taught in everyday environments. Our clients receive assistance with money management, cooking and nutrition, locating housing, safety awareness, health and medication management, self-advocacy and social skills. Supported Living Services provide a higher level of support with self care activities and health and may include assistance with recruiting and supervising personal care attendants and locating other natural supports.

Supported Employment:

The Supported Employment Program assists individuals who require ongoing support on and/or off the job in order to choose, obtain, and retain paid employment in integrated settings. Clausen House offers two options: One is in a paid group (enclave) in which a job trainer assists trainees with developing appropriate work habits and skills and interfaces with the employer to enhance success. The other is an individual job placement for those who have demonstrated the ability and desire to work in a less supervised position. Learn more »

A variety of recreational activities such as bowling, movies, yoga, sporting events and dances are offered each week. Learn more »
