Photo Exhibit"PART OF THE MAIN: A Journey Toward Community"
Former Clausen House Board members Nathan Hale and Bill Egan interviewed some of the 180 men and women Clausen House serves through its variety of programs. Their goal was to hear their stories and find out what their lives are like. The interviewees were then captured on film by Jim Nicholls, a devoted volunteer who has traveled the world photographing people in their environments, from Pope John Paul II at the Vatican to members of the Nuba tribe in the Sudan. Selected photographs from the project were enlarged for an exhibit that was presented at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco and St. Clements Episcopal, Berkeley and is currently on display at the Clausen House Clarence J. Woodard Community Center. Due to the popularity of this exhibit, we have created an online version. Click here to view the "Part of the Main" photo exhibit. Pictured above are John and Alice standing in front of their photograph that was part of the exhibit at Grace Cathedral. |
